Sensory Room.

Frederick Holmes Sensory rooms are multi- sensory learning spaces where pupils and students can get truly involved and immersed in a range of sensory activities to enhance their learning around particular themes of study.

Through the use of light, sound and projection, the sensory rooms can be transformed into an engaging, interactive environment where pupils use switches or tablet devices to enable them to become more independent learners.

Our sensory rooms provide our pupils and students with alternative opportunities, away from the classroom, to deepen their understanding and knowledge around topics which might be unfamiliar to them, by bringing the learning to the pupils through creative, ‘real’ experiences.
